Commemorative Banknote for the NLB 30th Ljubljana Marathon

On the occasion of the 30th edition of the NLB Ljubljana Marathon, which will take place this October in Ljubljana, NLB is issuing a special commemorative banknote. With it, the bank marks three decades of one of the largest sporting events in Slovenia, which for many years has been bringing together people, generations, and stories.

The commemorative banknote symbolically reflects the journey of an event that has become an important part of Ljubljana’s identity. It features Klara Lukan and Vid Botolin, the holders of the 10 km course record, which they set in 2025 at the NLB 29th Ljubljana Marathon. Their achievements represent the dedication, perseverance, and energy that the marathon inspires in all participants.
