EXPO NLB Ljubljana Marathon Is Open – Step into the Heart of the Running Spectacle!

The EXPO NLB Ljubljana Marathon has officially opened its doors at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre (Gospodarsko razstavišče), marking the start of the 30th anniversary edition of the NLB Ljubljana Marathon. Over the three days of the expo, we expect more than 30,000 visitors, who will be able to collect their race packs, discover the latest innovations in running equipment, sports nutrition and healthy living, and experience the excitement of Slovenia’s largest running event.

A record 33,281 participants have registered for this milestone edition. Of these, 22,509 will take part in the 10 km, half-marathon and marathon races, while 10,772 will participate in the children’s and school races. Participants from 84 countries have registered, highlighting the event’s international appeal.

Running inspiration and innovation under one roof

This year, the EXPO is also expanding in scope. More than 70 exhibitors will showcase their products across approximately 4,000 square metres of exhibition space, offering a wide selection of running gear, running shoes, sportswear, sports watches and nutrition products. Visitors can also look forward to expert advice, product tastings and special expo offers.

This year’s highlights include the exhibition “A Time Machine Through Running History”, celebrating three decades of the Ljubljana Marathon, and the MADE IN SLOVENIA Avenue, dedicated to Slovenian products, cuisine and traditional crafts.

The EXPO is the perfect opportunity for runners to make their final preparations before race day, while visitors can explore the world of running and active living. Admission is free.

Important information: Race pack collection

All registered runners must collect their race packs at the EXPO, held in the Kupola and Kocka halls at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, Dunajska cesta 18, Ljubljana. Please bring your registration confirmation and a valid ID.

Attention, 10 km runners! Race packs for the Garmin 10 km Run must be collected by 3 pm on Saturday, 17 October, at the latest.

On Sunday, 18 October, race pack collection will not be available. This also applies to half-marathon and marathon runners competing on Sunday, so please plan your visit to the expo accordingly.
