NLB Ljubljana Marathon is growing...

Every year, the World Athletics evaluates and ranks marathons that fall under its umbrella, and the criteria are exclusively tied to the top results achieved. The ranking for 2025 is known, and the NLB Ljubljana Marathon World ranked 32nd, leaving behind well-known and larger marathons such as Rome, Milan, Vienna, Madrid, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Dublin, Istanbul...

The number of runners who have registered for this year's October event already exceeds last year's in the same period. And so far, twice as many. We have just exceeded five thousand registered runners, including almost 2,100 marathon runners, so far, registered runners for all three races come from 58 countries.
