We present 10 novelties

Last year we made tectonic shifts in the organization of the NLB Ljubljana Marathon event, this year we are consolidating and upgrading everything together in a winning spirit. We present 10 novelties:

1. NLB Bank has become the general sponsor for the next 4 years, thus continuing its successful story in the Adriatic region and here it coincides with the intention of the NLB Ljubljana Marathon, we both aim to build the primacy of the regional champion.
2. Among elite runners, we have a special Slovenian story - we supported a project where Primož Kobe will attack the best Slovenian time in the marathon distance at the NLB Ljubljana Marathon. This is how we want to encourage top Slovenian athletics.
3. We established a demo team and with it greatly enriched, refreshed and beautified the content of the event. A team of young professionals are the communicators of the event's main messages.
4. We have pace runners at all distances this year, at the Garmin 10k, the Generali Half Marathon for ZAME and the Heineken 0.0 marathon, and all of them also went through the first aid training process, so we have another additional safeguard for the safe course of the event.
5. NLB Ljubljana Marathon has become a women-friendly event and thus celebrates the determination of our hearty runners. We are starting with measures that will encourage female runners to decide to run.
6. We continue to develop the area of ​​sustainability with new measures and thus follow the green agenda of major sporting events.
7. Last year, we conducted a satisfaction survey among runners. We carefully read all 1,141 comments and feedback received, so this year we are introducing 15 improvements.
8. Together with the company Lelosi, we returned the running shirt for everyone for the next three years.
9. We drew a new route for the Garmin 10 km and thus ensured that the run would be even faster and the run more attractive.
10. Pasta party Barilla dober tek is moving to a large hall in Arena Stožice (warm-up hall) and this will make the place for a delicious meal in good company even more pleasant.
