After a marathon, the body needs effective recovery to restore energy reserves and support muscle repair. During the run, glycogen stores are depleted, which makes carbohydrate intake after exertion essential.
Pasta is an excellent source of carbohydrates that help replenish muscle glycogen. When combined with protein (such as chicken, tuna, or legumes) and healthy fats, it creates a complete recovery meal that supports muscle rebuilding and reduces fatigue.
Proper nutrition after running is not just the final step of training – it’s an important part of the recovery process. Make sure your post-run meal is nutritious, balanced, and of course, delicious.
Mlinotest pasta, made from high-quality durum wheat, is a reliable choice for every runner – tasty, nourishing, and quick to prepare. After a demanding run, refuel with a meal that combines energy, quality, and tradition. Energy for new running challenges begins on your plate.
