Every kilometer of the NLB Ljubljana Marathon is a test of readiness, determination, perseverance, willpower... and last but not least, nutrition. We are pleased that Enervit will help you, especially with professional nutrition planning, optimizing energy intake and hydration.

Enervit has prepared a hydration and nutrition plan for you before, during and after the run.

BEFORE THE RUN

Before the start, we optimize the available carbohydrates and water reserves. The meal before the sports activity should be easy to digest, with a large volume, with a sufficient amount of carbohydrates and also fats. Before the start, we recommend consuming Pre Sport, which provides you with all of the above.

DURING THE RUN

During the run, it is essential to replace the depletion of our own resources that are used up during phases of prolonged effort. To replenish losses, it is recommended to drink regularly, in small sips. Enervit G SPORT drink will be available every 5km at regular stations. It is also essential to make a plan when or at which kilometer we will consume Enervit Isotonic gel or Enervit gel. Enervit Gel (lemon and orange) will be available at 17km, where, as every year, there will be an ENERVIT zone.

AFTER THE RUN

Regeneration or recovery phase is most important immediately after the run (within 30 minutes). At that time, we need to ensure the intake of proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, etc. Enervit recommends the product R2 Recovery drink.
