Information for runners
There will be uninterrupted access to the UKC during the marathon from the following directions:
- Rudnik district: from AC exit Ljubljana JUG take Dolenjska Street, then turn right onto Roška Street followed by Njegoševa Street.
- Trnovo district: from AC exit Ljubljana CENTER take Barjanska Street, turn right onto Zoisova Street, continue on Karlovška Street, turn left onto Roška Street followed by Njegoševa Street.
- Šiška district: via Celovška Street, turn left onto Tivolska Street, followed by OF Square and Masarykova Street, then turn right onto Njegoševa Street.
- Bežigrad district (depending where in Bežigrad you are staying, please check the list of possible crossovers):via Topniška Street, followed by Šmartinska and Masarykova Street, then turn left onto Njegoševa Street.
- Fužine district: via Zaloška Street, then turn right onto Njegoševa Street.
- Vič and Rožna dolina district:
- po AC v smeri Ljubljana CENTER, nato po Barjanski cesti, na Zoisovo cesto, Karlovško cesto, na Roško cesto, po Njegoševi cesti or
- via 27th April Street, onto Erjavčeva Street, turn left onto Prešernova Street, turn left onto Šubičeva Street, turn right onto Bleiweisova Street, continue onto Tivolska Street and onto OF Square, continue on Masarykova Street, then turn right onto Njegoševa Street..
- City center: on the left side of Dunajska Street (looking in the direction of Bežigrad district)
- via Prešernova Street, turn left onto Šubičeva Street, turn right onto Bleiweisova Street, continue onto Tivolska Street and onto OF Square, continue on Masarykova Street, then turn right onto Njegoševa Street or
- via Gosposvetska Street, turn right onto Tivolska Street and onto OF Square, continue on Masarykova Street, then turn right onto Njegoševa Street.
These are just a few possible access routes for reaching the University Medical center (UKC), but please feel free to use the map of possible crossings as well.
